B2B Explainer Video with Speed, Style, and a Fresh Visual Language

Trend Micro asked us to create a short 60-second explainer introducing Service One, their 24/7 managed detection, response, and support offering.

The goal was simple: communicate how Service One extends security teams, maximizes effectiveness, and helps organizations detect and respond faster—all while positioning Trend Micro as a trusted partner.

The brief was intentionally concise, leaving room for creative interpretation.

Creative Approach: A fast, expressive 2D collage aesthetic

Because timing and budget were tight, we needed an approach that was both efficient and artistically strong. Our solution was a 2D animated collage style that blended:

• carefully chosen stock video and photography
• minimalistic iconography
• stylized cut-out elements
• layered textures and shapes
• dynamic animated compositions

This hybrid aesthetic allowed us to create something visually rich without requiring complex custom illustration or 3D production. It was bold, modern, and instantly readable, perfect for a global audience who needed clarity, not noise.

The collage look also mirrored the core theme of Service One itself: different layers, skills, and capabilities coming together to form one unified force.

The format made the video both fast to produce and easy for the client to visualize. In early reviews, Trend Micro's product marketing team immediately understood the story and the visual direction. There were no long alignment cycles; the aesthetic clicked from the very first boards.
